Office Tower Construction

Our team successfully met the challenge of building a new 19-storey, 16,500 m² office tower for Quebecor. We also participated in the development of this renovation project, specifically for a major part of the existing office tower.

During this mandate, we also had to consider these important factors: 

• Underground parking
• A lobby connecting Quebecor's head office and the new office tower
• A tenant retro-fit program, including a conference room

The new building's intricate architecture and its limited manoeuvring space during construction did not prevent us from completing each floor before the required deadlines.

Complex Building Structure

We overcame the new building's architectural challenges, including multiple roofs on different levels.

Tight Schedule

The original schedule for the concrete structure required us to complete one storey every six days. We finished each floor in five.

Little Room to Manoeuvre

We successfully coordinated and delivered the equipment, with little room to manoeuvre and busy thoroughfares nearby.
