Looking for a construction internship that offers real hands-on experience? The Pomerleau Campus Internship Program is designed for students and recent graduates who want to learn alongside experienced professionals and contribute to meaningful, real-world projects throughout Canada.
This is a paid internship program (4, 8, or 12 months) available year-round, with intakes during the Winter, Summer, and Fall terms. Positions are offered in on-site or hybrid formats, depending on the role and project. All internships are paid, and you’ll benefit from personalized guidance, social activities, and learning opportunities to maximize your experience. You’ll become an integral part of a site or project team, gaining real-world experience: building client relationships, clearly communicating your ideas in meetings, managing unforeseen events on-site, and helping drive projects forward. You’ll also take part in lunch & learns, site visits, and exclusive sessions with industry experts.

Pomerleau is one of the largest construction companies in Canada, with projects nationwide. Our internships span three major divisions, as well as various administrative functions, each offering a unique and valuable experience:
Buildings: Commercial, institutional, and industrial projects including hospitals, schools, office towers, and sports complexes.
Civil and Infrastructure: Roadwork, bridges, water and sewer networks, earthworks, and complex public infrastructure projects.
Major Projects: Large-scale initiatives across Canada, often delivered through alternative models like Public-Private Partnership (PPP) and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), where innovation, collaboration, and complex project management are key.
Administrative Functions: Internships in cost control, project management, environmental monitoring, communication, as well as in digital modeling and coordination (BIM/VDC).
