As a Project Manager at Pomerleau, Warren Dietrich brings a strong focus on sustainable development and net-zero construction. He has contributed to significant projects including the Gros Morne National Park Visitor Centre near Rocky Harbour in Newfoundland, and the Corner Brook Regional Recreation Centre in Newfoundland, where his leadership has been instrumental in coordinating teams, ensuring safety, and delivering energy-efficient solutions.
Warren’s expertise is supported by a solid foundation in engineering and business administration, along with specialized training in low-carbon construction and Lean delivery methods. His ability to oversee complex projects while prioritizing environmental responsibility demonstrates his commitment to building stronger, more sustainable communities.
Warren’s track record highlights the important role young leaders play in shaping a resilient and forward-looking construction sector. In addition to his skills in the construction environment, Warren is a passionate driver of community service. Among other initiatives, he leads Pomerleau’s annual Atlantic charity golf tournament in support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada.
At Pomerleau, Bahaa Hajar has played a key role in advancing digital innovation across the company. He was the first to introduce advanced cloud-based collaboration tools in Atlantic Canada, which have since been scaled nationwide to enhance productivity, streamline communication, and strengthen coordination on projects. His contributions earned him Pomerleau’s 2024 Innovation Value Award, a recognition of his ability to redefine construction delivery through BIM, VDC, and emerging technologies.
Beyond his technical expertise, Bahaa is a mentor who empowers teams to embrace digital tools and adopt a culture of innovation. His leadership in integrating IoT monitoring, robotics, and satellite mapping reflects his forward-thinking approach and lasting influence on construction practices.

Matthew Walmsley, Project Director for Pomerleau’s Buildings West division, has built an impressive career delivering complex projects across North America. With more than $1.2 billion in active projects under his direction, Matthew has successfully overseen institutional, commercial, and infrastructure builds such as Cloverly Elementary School in Vancouver and the Belleville Ferry Terminal Redevelopment in Victoria.
His leadership extends beyond project execution, as he has introduced proprietary project management tools, standardized reporting systems, and implemented new digital dashboards to improve efficiency and accountability. Known for his ability to build and guide high-performing teams, Matthew has mentored emerging professionals and fostered a culture rooted in safety, quality, and sustainability.
His transformative approach to project delivery continues to set benchmarks for Pomerleau and the broader industry.
