For its very first edition, last April, the National Pomerleau Cup highlighted the excellent work accomplished by the team responsible for the creation of the 14th IKEA store in Canada (the first in Quebec City).
This project won the hearts of the jury, made up of Pomerleau vice-presidents. Indeed, this is a perfect example of a masterfully carried out project, according to the most rigorous standards in the industry.
The high level of expertise, attention to detail, and respect for costs have enabled this project to be a total success. Our team was able to get the job done on time, with passion and openness, while being aware of security, expectations, and standards specific and specific to the project.
Thus, the IKEA Quebec project perfectly represents what the Pomerleau experience is: a perfect synergy has been created between the stakeholders, the schedule, OHS, quality, and cost management. But to get there, we had to create a good climate of mutual aid and collaboration.
The cooperation of the Pomerleau team and its partners has been more than exceptional! The client was performing monthly OHS audits and loved our management methods, as well as our proactivity. The CNESST has also recognized this project as an example to follow.
One thing is certain: the members of our family have not finished pushing the limits, and we can bet that the Pomerleau National Cup will reward many exceptional projects in the years to come!
