We received the mandate to build and finish the IKEA store in Quebec City totalling 32,118 m2 (the equivalent of five soccer fields).
We used BIM technology from the outset of the design phase, performing a constructability analysis of the modelled elements. We also validated the basic construction concepts for each project component.
This analysis enabled us to optimize and ensure the quality of the design documents issued in batches for tenders. It also allowed us to identify major design problems, which were subsequently analyzed and corrected by professionals.
