Three construction & renovation projects

We were awarded three construction and renovation projects at the iconic Le Château Frontenac. Since the hotel remained open and tourist traffic was at its peak during construction, we had to get creative to deliver the project on time, while protecting the public and minimizing any disruptions along the way.

Our team met every challenge with flying colours.

The work at Le Château Frontenac was divided into three distinct blocks.

For Block 2, we built a veranda extension, two restaurants and two upscale bars, integrating these elements:

• Freestanding wine cellars
• A cheese room
• 160-piece chandeliers
• Brass and marble ornaments
• Brass veneer furniture

For Block 3, we performed the following work:

• Building the 650 m² main kitchen
• Renovating exterior windows
• Renovating the lobby
• Renovating shops
• Renovating meeting rooms and offices
• Restoring masonry

For Block 5, we completed the following construction:

• Building three state-of-the-art meeting rooms
• Installing furniture, equipment and lighting in the ballroom and many secondary rooms
• Major renovations to two secondary kitchens (279 m² each)
• Renovating 26 rooms
• Restoring masonry and windows
• Repairing the copper roof
• Repairing elevators

Complex construction on a tight schedule

We delivered the project on time — despite normal, everyday hotel operations, high-tourist traffic and the need to protect guests and the public.

Renovating a historical building

We renovated Le Château Frontenac, successfully adding a modern touch to the classic style of this historical icon. The perfect union.
