Every spring, maple syrup season brings with it something sweeter than maple sap: a sense of belonging. For Pomerleau, this season is synonymous with an annual tradition deeply rooted in the company's DNA. A simple, heartfelt gesture, carrying a history that dates back to 1985.
This year, the Pomerleau syrup tradition takes on a new dimension. To celebrate 60 years of boldness and pioneering spirit, the 2026 syrup campaign invites you to participate in a unique experience: an interactive game that celebrates the company's heritage, its values, and the people who bring it to life, from coast to coast.

For this anniversary edition, Pomerleau commissioned Vancouver-based artist Carson Ting to design the 2026 syrup bottle. Recognized as one of the world's top 200 illustrators by Lürzer's Archive and a collaborator with FIFA, Nike, and the NBA, he created a rich and vibrant illustration containing dozens of symbols linked to Pomerleau's history and values. This artwork is at the heart of the campaign's interactive game: a digital seek-and-find where each discovered symbol tells a story from the company's 60-year history.
Initiated by Hervé Pomerleau in the spirit of Quebec's sugaring season, the tradition took root in 1985 with an initial order of maple syrup bottles to thank clients and partners. This small gesture quickly became an eagerly anticipated annual ritual, offered to the company's employees, clients, and partners. Over the years, each bottle has been associated with a cause: love, Indigenous communities, mental health, and workplace safety. More than just a regional product, Pomerleau syrup has become the symbol of a culture founded on family, authenticity, and gratitude.
In 1966, Hervé and Laurette Pomerleau founded their company in Beauce, at the heart of the Quiet Revolution. Sixty years later, this family business has become one of the largest construction firms in Canada: more than 5,000 employees, over 200 active projects simultaneously, from coast to coast. Behind this growth: unwavering values. Authenticity, excellence, and a passion for the craft have guided both business relationships and talent acquisition for six decades.
Maple syrup is Canada in a bottle, the pride of a region, the know-how passed down from generation to generation. Offering it every spring is a reminder that behind every construction site, there are people who, together, are building something that will last. And what better symbol than maple syrup to celebrate 60 years of a company that also has its roots in the local soil.
