A Modern and Accessible Centre
Our mandate was to build a new wellness centre in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador. The purpose of this modern and accessible 5,184 m2, two-storey facility is to promote a healthy and active lifestyle and participation in recreational and community activities.
Here are some of the features we integrated into the building:
- Six-lane competition-sized pool.
- Three changing rooms.
- Fitness centre with cardio, bodybuilding and free weight equipment.
- Daycare centre.
- Youth centre.
- Family wellness centre.
- Multi-purpose gymnasium with an indoor walking-running track.
- Gymnastics and judo room.
