Bridge construction

Our team was awarded the mandate to build the Petite-Nation River Bridge, which is 306 m in length and 30 m above the river.

The bridge has four spans—two are 67 m and the other two are 85 m—with a concrete deck on steel beams and 10 piles, measuring 10 m to 30 m (1.5 m in diameter). In addition, five of the piles were drilled into rock.

We also performed this work:

  • Deforestation (and construction of a 5-km access road)
  • Excavation (and casting of disposal pits and piles)
  • Rock anchoring
