Bombardier FAL Static Building

Multi-Purpose Building Construction

Our team built a 43,655 m² multi-purpose building, including an office space and a 22,510 m² hangar for Bombardier. Despite a tight schedule and a high level of complexity, we completed the project within the allotted timeline.

The building, named Final Assembly Line (FAL) Static, was part of a new development on the site.

The project included these components:

• Building a four-storey office space for administrative staff (including conference rooms, an amphitheatre, a training room and changing rooms).
• Construction of a 22,510 m² hangar with four aircraft positions (including underground utilities for ventilation, electrical and drainage services).
• Adding Tarmac-type access for aircraft entry.

We successfully completed the project thanks in part to our use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology. With this innovative approach, we could simplify the design process and better coordinate stakeholders throughout the project.
