Philippe Adam is Pomerleau's President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He joined us in 2021 as our Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) as well as leading Pomerleau Capital, our investment arm in infrastructure and renewable energy. 

In his previous role, he spearheaded two of the largest transactions in the company’s history, including the acquisition of Vancouver-based ITC Construction Group and the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec’s $150-million investment in Pomerleau. 

Philippe has over 20 years of experience in corporate finance, strategy and operations. Over the span of his career, he has been involved in a variety of strategic initiatives including mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions, and debt and equity financing. Prior to joining us, he served as CFO of Goodfood Market Corp. for three years and was Principal at Champlain Financial Corporation between 2013 and 2018. Philippe also held the positions of CFO at Garda Background Screening Solutions, Investment Banker with National Bank Financial, and Financial Advisor with Deloitte.  

A graduate from the Bachelor of Commerce program at Laval University, Philippe subsequently earned a Graduate Diploma in Accounting from HEC Montréal. He is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA, CA) and holds the designation of Chartered Business Valuator (CBV), for which he was the Canadian gold medalist in 2009.  

Philippe is active in several associations, including the Young Presidents' Organization, the Cercle des Présidents du Québec and the Business Council of Canada. 
 
Philippe sits on the board of directors of the Douglas Foundation. He also sits on the board of two of Pomerleau’s subsidiaries: Borea Construction, a leader in the construction of renewable energy projects, and ITC Construction Group, a leader in residential high-rises.
