In 2023, Philippe Adam became president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Pomerleau, one of Canada's most prominent construction companies. Previously, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Pomerleau, as well as president of Pomerleau Capital. Since his arrival, the company's revenue has grown from $2.5 billion to over $7 billion, positioning Pomerleau as a national leader, with a network of 12 offices, 5,000 employees, and more than 220 active projects across Canada. 

Philippe has also led significant transactions, including the acquisition of ITC Construction Group and a $150 million investment from La Caisse. He also established Pomerleau's first investment fund, which now totals nearly $250 million. His proudest achievement, however, was opening Pomerleau’s shareholding to all employees in 2023. 

Prior to Pomerleau, Philippe worked in private equity at Champlain Financial Corporation and gained deep expertise in finance and strategy at Deloitte, as well as in investment banking at National Bank Financial. He sits on the board of directors of the Douglas Foundation, is a member of the Business Council of Canada, and is involved in philanthropic initiatives in the areas of health and culture. As a member of the Canadian Construction Safety Council, Philippe is committed to advancing the physical and mental well-being of workers across the country. 

Philippe holds a bachelor's degree in commerce from Laval University and a graduate diploma in accounting from HEC Montréal. He is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountant Order and holds the Certified Business Valuator designation, for which he won the Canadian Gold Medal in 2009. In 2025, he was named Fellow by the Ordre des CPA du Québec. He also earned a spot on the 2025 edition of Construction’s Most Influential People for SiteNews.
