Guy Cormier

Guy Cormier served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Desjardins Group, the largest cooperative financial group in North America, from 2016 to 2025.
He held several key positions during his career of more than 30 years with the cooperative. Mr. Cormier has MBA and BBA degrees from HEC Montréal, where he taught finance for eight years. He serves on various boards, including HEC Montréal and he is a recipient of France's Legion of Honor and has been awarded an honorary doctorate from Concordia University's John Molson School of Business.
He is also Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel of the 4th Battalion, Royal 22nd Regiment.
