Pomerleau and Partners Selected as Preferred Proponent for the Surrey Langley SkyTrain Project’s Stations Contract

Surrey Skytrain

South Fraser Station Partners, a consortium comprised of Pomerleau, AECON and Acciona, has been selected by the Province of British Columbia as the preferred proponent for the Surrey Langley SkyTrain project’s stations contract.

The project will extend the Expo Line 16-kilometres from King George Station in Surrey to Langley City Centre. The stations contract includes the design and construction of eight stations, three transit exchanges, nine power propulsion stations and 250 metres of guideway at the terminus station at 203 Street in Langley City.

Once completed, the Surrey Langley SkyTrain will provide a reliable 22-minute travel time between Langley City and King George Station and a 65-minute ride between Langley City and downtown Vancouver, significantly enhancing customer experience.

We’re proud at Pomerleau to be collaborating with our client, the province of British Columbia, and our partners on a project that will offer those who live, work, study, and play south of the Fraser River sustainable transportation options.
