Perspective
Our commitment to the communities in which we operate and our respect for the environment and good governance is at the heart of our business.
It has been two years since we released our first Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) report. Since then, we have been sharing our progress and communicating solutions with all those who, like us, want to build engaged, inclusive and innovative communities.
Today, we are sharing the results of our 2023 year, which saw the implementation of new initiatives. We focused particularly on our Indigenous relations and climate change targets. The integration of smart temporary heating units on 17 of our construction sites through the Heat Better Challenge, is contributing to the reduction of our greenhouse gas emissions. Our commitment to attaining the Progressive Aboriginal Relations (PAR) certification has led to the creation of an interdisciplinary working committee, that will ensure we meet the requirements of the certification. We were also named one of Canada’s Greenest Employers for the first time and announced our participation in the Government of Canada’s Net-Zero Challenge.
As we continue to work towards our targets, we seek to share our results with you every year while prioritizing the development and deployment of concrete actions to advance our progress in attaining our goals.
Integrating principles of environmental protection, social commitment and good governance (ESG) into all of our practices is essential to contribute, in collaboration with our clients, partners and investors, to moving the industry in the right direction.
Several other goals are in progress or have been reached. Check out a snapshot below of what we are working on and what we intend to achieve:
