In solidarity with indigenous communities

In solidarity with indigenous communities

On September 30, which marks the very first National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, we commemorate the tragic and painful history of residential schools and their intergenerational impacts and recognize the heritage, cultures and extraordinary contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis.

In solidarity with Indigenous peoples, because Pomerleau believes knowledge, education and awareness is a force for change, and in order to promote equal relationships with these communities, we will donate $50,000 to two organizations. Indspire aims to create long-term benefits for Indigenous families and communities across Canada by investing in the education of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples. Our donation will allow Indspire to educate, connect and invest in Indigenous peoples so they can achieve their highest potential.
Our gift to Reconciliation Canada, an Indigenous-led organization that catalyzes meaningful relationships through values-based dialogue, leadership and action, will ensure their vital work continues.

We are also committed to taking further concrete actions that support the self-determination of Indigenous peoples in a meaningful and lasting way.
