Construction, Repair and Reconstruction

Our team was awarded the mandate to build, repair and rebuild the Highway 20/30 interchange in Boucherville.

Our work was as follows:

  • Building a new structure and completely rebuilding two structures and their approaches.
  • Repairing the existing structures (which were in critical condition).
  • Preparing for the transition of Highway 30 (2 x 3 lanes)
  • Preparatory work for traffic shifts.
  • Strengthening a structure temporarily.
  • Building a new structure between two existing structures.
  • Building 1 km of retaining walls.
  • Building lightweight backfill approaches (100,000 m3).
  • Excavation (210,000 m3) and backfill (300,000 tonnes).
  • Installing intelligent transportation systems, overhead signage and electrical facilities.
  • Drainage.
  • Landscaping.

Despite a tight schedule, a high-traffic site and specialized work, we completed the project efficiently and accurately within the stipulated timeframe.
