Surrey Langley SkyTrain Project

Pomerleau, in partnership with AECON and Acciona, has been selected as the preferred proponent for the Surrey Langley SkyTrain project’s stations contract. This project will extend the Expo Line 16 kilometers from King George Station in Surrey to Langley City Centre. The contract includes the design and construction of eight stations, three transit exchanges, nine power propulsion stations, and 250 meters of guideway at the terminus station at 203 Street in Langley City. Once completed, the Surrey Langley SkyTrain will provide a reliable 22-minute travel time between Langley City and King George Station and a 65-minute ride between Langley City and downtown Vancouver.

Fraser River Tunnel Project

Pomerleau in partnership with Bouygues Construction Canada Inc., and FCC, has been selected to work for the Fraser River Tunnel Project. This project involves the construction of a new toll-free eight-lane immersed tube tunnel to replace the existing George Massey Tunnel on Highway 99. The new tunnel will provide three vehicle lanes and a dedicated transit lane in each direction, feature a separated multi-use pathway for cyclists and pedestrians, and maintain Fraser River navigational channel clearances.
