Groupe ALLEN joins Pomerleau

Siege social Allen

Two Quebec companies combine their expertise to meet the growing infrastructure needs of tomorrow.

Pomerleau has completed its acquisition of Groupe ALLEN, a Quebec-based general contractor specializing in water treatment, process mechanics, directional drilling, formwork and earthwork for nearly 80 years.

The transaction brings together two recognized Quebec companies that share a long-term growth ambition and a culture built on collaboration, trust, respect and excellence.

Complementary expertise for the infrastructure of tomorrow

Investment needs in water infrastructure will continue to grow due to aging assets, population growth and evolving environmental requirements. By combining their expertise, Pomerleau and Groupe ALLEN will be better positioned to support communities in modernizing this essential infrastructure.

Together, we will be better positioned to meet the growing needs of communities and help deliver the infrastructure Quebec will require in the decades ahead. Our objective remains to build on Groupe ALLEN’s strong foundations and support the next stage of its development while respecting what makes the company successful.

An integration that preserves Groupe ALLEN’s identity

The Groupe ALLEN is now a subsidiary of Pomerleau and will continue to build on the strengths that have contributed to its success. It will continue to operate under its own name, with its leadership team and management remaining in place. Its clients, suppliers, and specialized subcontractors will continue to work with the teams they know and trust.

By joining forces, the two companies will be able to offer a broader range of expertise, greater capacity to deliver large-scale projects and new development opportunities for their employees.

This partnership with Pomerleau is a natural continuation of our journey and will give us the means to accelerate the next phase of our development while remaining true to our identity.
