Guy Cormier served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Desjardins Groupfrom 2016 to 2025. During his tenure, he led the organization through a period of transformation, focusing on sustained growth, rigorous management, and a vision centered on long-term value creation. Recognized for his inclusive leadership and his ability to navigate complex environments, he played a key role in positioning Desjardins as a major contributor to economic development in Canada.
His experience leading one of the country’s largest financial institutions, combined with deep expertise in governance, risk management, and strategic development, will be a significant asset to Pomerleau’s Board of Directors. His perspective will support the company’s strategic thinking, particularly in a context of growth, diversification, and expansion of its operations across Canada.
