Fall 2019 Synergy Awards: discover the seven winning projects

Twice a year across Canada, Pomerleau honours seven exemplary Health and Safety (H&S) and Quality projects with its Synergy Awards.

The dedication and attention to detail these honourees put into their projects perfectly reflect Pomerleau’s values:

· They promote best practices related to quality-control and H&S
· They execute an effective management system
· They demonstrate leadership
· They foster collaboration and teamwork
· They’re rigorous and develop good working methodologies

Here are some of the criteria we use to select the honorees:

- Cooperation and exchanges among teams that promote various aspects of quality-control and H&S;
- Internal and external project start-up meetings with recorded minutes;
- Evaluating and updating different quality-assurance action plans;
- Effective protocols for solving nonconformities and deficiencies;
- Follow-ups made after 10%, 50%, and 80% of the project’s completion; and
- The ability to meet clients’ needs (respecting timelines, budgets, and standards related to quality-control and H&S).
